I get what you're trying to say, but there is no next Joe Bonamassa.

Re: The next Joe B.?????

i know this isnt what you were intending, but i hate the next "____" comparisons.  it does nothing but hinder or pigeonhole artists.  honestly, how many next stevie ray vaughns have there been?  i'd say every guitar player showed promise and dabbled in the blues since stevie has had the label.  same with hendrix, etc.  just say, this kid is good influenced by, similar sound to, etc.  i don't even think it is a good compliment to say the next so and so it is basically calling someone a ripoff in my eyes.  sorry, just how i feel is all.  havent watched the vid yet will and will post a relevant response when i do.

Cute kid but I've seen a load of 'em at open mic nights over the last 12 months when I've been in the house band at 'jam' nights for weekend warriors (I use the term very loosely) all singing the same song in the same way. To coin a phrase often used by Simon Cowell....No.

I think I'll come to your jam night so I can grumble in a different country lol

Re: The next Joe B.?????

I had the privilege of having Nico "play" along to a Joe song last year. He is VERY serious. There is a picture of him on stage with Joe that is one of my all time favorites..I always thought it would make a wonderful poster for the "Blues in the Schools" program. I also want you to note how much he's grown in the last year!!!      Nico fan, Cathy        http://www.flickr.com/photos/photogal19 … 206104462/

Re: The next Joe B.?????

Be my guest big fella....just make sure you bring some o' dat sauce. Seriously, there must be a thousand kids in this country who all go to the same franchised stage school....all taught to sing the same song in the same way.

Re: The next Joe B.?????

THAT would be my BOYfriend who I recently had the great pleasure of meeting, watching, getting to know and GIGGLING with in Ohio.  Yes, I can tell you that is is DEADLY serious - he STUDIES JOE and has the timing and the moves down...... I just want to know when the LESSONS will start.

Oh, btw, Nico has taken to slicking his hair back recently.  Gee, I wonder where he got THAT idea??

too cute for words,

smile  L

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Yeah He seems like a cool kid.  Better be careful with that talk Big Eyes might get to be Big Ears and overhear.

Is He a lefty for real?  First time my son picked up he held it left handed, but not now...Strange.
