Topic: Ryan McGarvey In August Issue Of Guitar Player Magazine

Well, if you hadn't been coerced into picking up the August issue of Guitar Player Magazine already, you now have another reason to. For in addition to their feature on Davy Knowles of BDS, they also have a review of one of Ryan McGarvey's songs in the issue as well. Very favorable also! So, you now have another reason. Just saw Ryan again last night, smokin' as usual, and there are some new songs played that are a natural progression from the first, but are even better. A new album is in the preliminary stages at the moment which I have no doubt will be even better than the first. Ryan would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to all on this forum who have shown support...and that's all for now! So go pick up the mag already! wink And if you haven't picked up the album yet...do not pass go...don't collect $200...well, pick up the $$$ 'cause that'll pay for the disc, and put a tank of gas in your car...just grab the album!

Thanks Keith! I don't know how I missed it. I think Ryan is super and has that tone we all love. The cool thing is it's a feature called Riffs:Web hordes and it's for D.I.Y. artists and bands. There are 8 chosen and reviewed using web sites. Go to myspace,com/michaelmolenda , add him as a friend, and invite him to your music space. He'll check our your tracks and determine if you get coverage in the magazine. If you don't have a MySpace, send an invite to mmolenda@musicplayer.com  I love this idea and hope some of the many musicians here can take advantage of this! Good luck!     Cathy
