Topic: Hello from Ireland

Hi Folks,

this is only my second post (after my quick review of Tuesday's Dublin Gig). I thought I should post an introduction before I post some more.

I've been a Bonamassa fan since he featured on Guitarist Magazines 2006 DVD. That spawned numerous searches on youtube and numerous purchases of CD's and DVD's. The highlight of my Bonamassa experience to date was seeing him live this week in Dublin, probably the best gig I was ever at!

I've been playing guitar for over 20 years (I really should be alot better after all that time :-)), although work and family committments mean I don't get too much time to indulge my passion for playing. I've listed my gear below in my signature and you can check out some of my playing on my youtube site (link under my username).

Other music I listen to: Clapton, John Mayer, ACDC, ZZ Top, U2, Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Dave Gilmour.... any good guitar based music really.

Hope to be talking to yee all again some more over the next while..

Take care,

-Lev

Hi Lev,

Welcome to the forum, glad you got to see Joe live... there's no experience like it is there?!

I really do love that guitar. I noticed JB's new signature Gibson LP pays a little tribute to 'greenie' with the volume and tone knobs.

Re: Hello from Ireland

My lemon LP is currently in its case with the headstock broken off and a neck break in the middle as the result of a Hercules wall hanger coming off the wall.  It pains me to even post this as it was such a beautiful guitar to play.
