What kind of camera do you use?
I'm looking for a new since mine broke down a couple of months ago?
And what kind a settings you use for making these pics.Don't think you used your flash.
Greetings Marianne
Beautiful pictures................I love the close of Joe, showing his beautiful blue eyes! It looks like you had a really good spot for shooting the photos..................and what a crowd.
Thank you for sharing your great pics with us.

Hi Marianne, hope you are well! It's a very basic level Canon Eos 400D with a Sigma 18 - 200 zoom lens as a replacement for the standard 17 - 55. The Sigma is not a high end lens and is a little dark when zoomed. I tend to set the camera to manual, on the widest aperture I can. Then I frame the shot through the eyepiece and adjust the speed to suit. If the speed is too slow - just don't try to take the pic because it will be blurred. One way to reduce this problem is to set the ISO to 800 or higher, which is just like using very "fast" film. Auto white balance helps although you can play around with other white balance settings to get different effects. I've only been taking digital pics for a few months, but these tips seem to work reasonably well!
Edited to say - yes, no flash for these gig shots, but the sound check shots were all with a Sigma flash on manual setting
Great photos Geoff. Thanks for posting them
Does anyone know where Carmine got the shirt from?
Geoff

Mighty fine pictures Geoff!!! Like the crowd shot, looking backwards. Also the group picture of you guys is cool...
The pictures are as great as I expected them to be ... some of the best I´ve ever seen!
Great work, Geoff - brings ALL the memories back right away ... also love the one of the Bonamassa Gang

Hi Geoff
Carmine said he bought his shirt only recently but didn't say from where. I liked it too.
Great pictures Geoff. You sure have a talent for photography. I particularly like the one of the crowd with all those beaming faces. And look at the Bonamassa Gang - tired but happy, happy, happy. Good memories.

Thanks Geoff, fantastic set of pics, great clarity and quality!! Love the way you capture the intensity of Joe's playing.
Brought back great memories of Mon night!
Just booked for Manchester in November Are we gonna have another get together?
Yeh, great idea! It was such fun building up to the Liverpool Gig. What can we call it?
Manchester - Academy 3, 2 and now 1? Any suggestions.......
There's a bar quite close to the venue and there's a great chinese restuarant just across the road that Michael, Sue and I went to before the gig last time - might even bump into the boys there?
Im up for that... specially after missing Liverpools meet
Count us in too Libby
