You know, I just had this vision of Shred and I sleeping in the same hotel room along with whoever else will be in there. I wonder if I should leave my footy pj's at home or if the guys would mind me wearing them? Actually, I could have Joe's name embroidered across the chest and I'm sure that would make them acceptable.

Also, I don't like any doors open in the room, because I don't want the boogie man to get me while I'm sleeping. They also claim I snore pretty loud and sometimes yell out verses of "Burning Hell", "The River", "Mountain Time" and "Blues Deluxe".

I think most of the rash I've had has cleared up now and that intestinal problem I had has been rectified (play on words). So I should be all set for Dallas!! wink

Do these jammy's of yours have little fuzzy balls on the toes?? Or big bunny ears. Bring your snore respirator with you. You'll be glad for the forced fresh air.

I hope we have a motel in a decent area. I need open doors/windows and plenty of fresh air. No, you can't comment or ask why. ;>) Just be considerate of the fact that I'm a long haired hillbilly biker and I don't like to be closed in. If I jump up in the middle of the night with the cold sweats swearing at charlie, pointing a simulated rifle or pretending I have a machete, theres no need to be concerned, really, it's just my PTDS flaring up. It'll be ok as long as you don't make sudden moves or speak Vietnamese.

Those spring loaded rocking horses can be dangerous. No you can't see my scar.

Roy ol buckaroo, I'd bring along a few rolls of caps for yer pistola but I doubt they'd allow those on a plane these days. Times they have changed.

Sleep tight there little feller. Happy Trails to you.....

Re: Where would you fly to?

Yes Jeff????? smile Sorry the meds cart has already passed by your ward.

Roy I'm sure the camp counselor will get you to bed before you turn into a pumpkin. Maybe you shouldn't skip your afternoon naps anymore. BTW..I usually keep a sharpie handy for those who pass out. I like to paint faces with indelible markers on those foolish enough to drink too much. Old biker habit. Oh and it might be a good idea to bring your own alarm clock? Or ask the desk for a wake up call? I dunno. Can you dress yourself in the morning or will Dave need to assist you?

Wait a minute, just wait a cotton pickin' minute! Whoever said I'm a "Ned Beatty" look-alike? I always considered myself more of a Marty Feldman look-alike in his role as Igor in the movie, "Young Frankenstein". And if any of you mention my hump, (hump? what hump?) I'm leaving. Also, as far as face decorating, if that's how it's going to be I may not drink at all in Dallas. Besides, last time I was there I tried some of their local beer and it tasted like........... well, let's just say in tasted a bit like a steer!

Sincerely,

I think that when I mentioned "hillbilly" a few reading this thread freaked and started hearing banjo's in the background music. It's not my fault that my mother is my sister and my aunt.

Or are some skeered about passing out!!! smile  smile

It has kinda taken on a life of it's own, hasn't it? Oh well. Such is life.

Re: Where would you fly to?

Just pointing it out, we've had several complaints off board about threads turning into just dozens of one word or meaningless (except to the 2 parties) posts.

So lets be respectful of casual and new visitors as we allow these threads to take a life on their own.

Certainly cool to plan meet ups, but when we digress to just one word comments on someones signature, and then quote that as we supply our own one or two word reply it gets a bit eccentric.

It has always been one of the operating standards of this forum that we attempt to stay on the stated topic. Hard to do sometimes, I understand (and have done).

Thanks for your help.

Re: Where would you fly to?

I don't even care that I'm not going!  I'm just enjoying reading about what I think is going to be the Biggest Blast of Bonabuddies meeting and traveling together for their very own Bonafest.  I think Libby NEEDS to accompany so she can document the fun and fill us all in post-escapade, as only she can!!

Re: Where would you fly to?

Jees Roy,
Phil I will apologize for all of us menguys for just being a little silly, even I got into this one.  Hopefully you will balance the complaints of casual users and visitors who we never see again against the regulars cutting the fool.

I'm grown and know when to quit, which is now.  If those complaints came from regular users and you have a grumble with me, please email me, not Phil or Jim.  When i don't know I email the source.

We're all supposed to be grown.  Anywho a word to the wise is sufficient and thanks

And I do want to go to Tejas, I just got big bills on the minus side for a while.

thanks again
bigjeff

I completely agree with you Donna.  Ken and I were excited about the Texas shows the minute they hit the tour page.  Looks like there will be lots of Bonabuddies there, for sure...

But I have to say, this is turning into a manfest and I NEED to know some ladies are joining us. roll  Come on Ladies, who is going?
AND.... Dear Libby, nobody can explain an event the way you can.  What do you say, you coming to Texas?   big_smile

Send me an email if you need a pick up from the airport.
