Since Stevie seems to be your thing I've got to ask what would you be doing even thinking about an octavia pedal? As far as your overdrive problem either buy a TS808 and have Robert Keeley mod it or buy a modded Keeley TS808.

Well SRV is not my only thing. I love the sound of an octavia pedal but your right, it's a little irrational. Thanks for the help.

hey not sure how much this will help, but here is a link to a guy i know's page from St. Louis. Click on this link and go to mp3 store to listen to tracks. When youre there click on the SRV tribute album and fish around, see if its what you like.  If this is what youre after, go into the guestbook part, and on like the most recent page of it someone asked him about his sound and he gave amp settings, pedals......  he plays through a 65 super reverb ONLY too. Hope this helps....

BTW i bought one of them 64 vibroverb customs with the diaz mod.....it is SRV all the way.  good luck, heres the link:

Thank you for the help. Do you know if there is an adress on this site?? I might be able to stop by because I'm going to Missouri for a Blues festival.

Eric

i dont think there is an address. or not to my knowledge. if youre going to be in the STL area check out and see if he in playing. his dates are on his site posted. I know he is playing this friday night, the 11th, from 9 to 1 at the sports cafe.  you can leave him a messege on that board on his site though and sometime i'm sure he will reply.  good luck.

forgot to mention, he also plays at the hardshell in st. louis, that address is 1860 S. ninth street.   that bar is at the corner of guyer and 9th.
