Firefox (from Mozilla) has advertisement blockers now. It doesn't matter if you're on MySpace, facebook, whatever - any ads displayed on a page do not show up!  It is sweet...

Weird, because after seeing the contradictory posts I called them and was told that it was going to be a limited run of 300.

And puppetz323, I bet that made Joe's day to hear your wife say that. I know it would make mine! Hell it would make my day hear one of my girl friends (friends that are girls, I'm not a pimp, I promise) say anything remotely close to that!

I plan on finding a mint JB LP in 10 years when I'm rich and can afford Gibson prices...

Probably. If it's not weight relieved then it's certainly got a long neck tenon...but then again, it does have a two piece back!

I got around $4,400 and 300 limted run from 2 different Gibson Custom Shop dealers today. I'm heartbroken, this one just doesn't seem to be in the cards for me... By the time I save up that amount I'm sure they will be all gone. Man what a sweet guitar though.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. Gibson dealer that is. Put my name down for the first one he can get his hands on. His details were like much already said here. Based on a 57, long tenon fat neck, black backed. Aged, but not my murphy-they can only get his group to do so many a year. Around 4K, late summer ship. Apparently inspired by means 300. I wasnt aware of that, but he said that it's only gonna be 300. Of course, if they sell like jelly roll, I'm sure Gibson will fold to the call of the almighty(or not so mighty of late) dollar.

Gibson still hasn't released Joe's guitar and doesn't have (or won't mention) the date as to when they will release the guitar.

The shops I talked to don't know how many they'll be getting or if they're even getting a single unit...or so I'm told. I have been promised one but it was with a big "IF"!

I'm guessing they'll be sold out withing a day or two of their release and you just know somebody will be asking big $$$$ for one on ebay.
