Yippeeeeee!!!

I just received a phone call from our darling Patty!!!!  She sounded a little groggy and scratchy-throated, but, other than that - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!  I even had her laughing - OUCH!!!  Stop that Libby!!!

She wanted me to thank you ALL for the many, many prayers, well wishes, good energy and mojo that was sent her way - she said, "Tell everybody - it WORKED!!!"  She also wanted me to tell you that "Joe is in my room, grinning at me."  Hmmmm....... I thought he was in Portland......must be those painkillers......... JUST KIDDING - I believe, what she is referring to is the photo that I sent her of a certain couple of Joe fans WITH the MAN HIMSELF!!!  Or, maybe she's taken SEVERAL photos of JOE into the hospital with her!!!  No doubt!  I know that she had a special little collection of things that she hoped to take into the O. R.  !!!  Yep, more MOJO!!!!

Yesterday she sat up and she's been on a little walk and she expects to be released on Sunday.  I'll bet she's gonna be cruising the hallways over the next couple of days passing out Street Team cards and spreadin' the word of Joe.  I KNOW that all of the energy from the Forum is UPLIFTING her and will help her to recover more fully and with more speed!  She's got her mojo workin' again!!

She wants us all to have a safe and HAPPY FOURTH!!!

Re: Call to "The Wing"

Hello Bonabuddies,

I don't even know where to begin..........all languages combined do not contain enough words to express how wonderful you all are and how much you helped me.  It seems so simple, but maybe it is the most profound .....thank you ?  I am back on home turf.  My hospital adventure went well.   Everything is out and as far as I know A.O.K. My family & friends here were awesome. Great doc/surgeon!  I had the most angelic nurses caring for me.  But you know there was no beating "Joe's Army."  I printed off all your messages and cut them out before I went to the hospital and had them to read like "Fortune Cookies"  I will keep them in my MoJoe memory box to share with later generations.  A glimpse of how many wonderful people there are in this big ole' world. ?  I got my staples out this morning during which I was desperately clutching my "Joe Charm" that Sandy in Massachusetts sent me.  The nurse said, "I don't know what you got in your hand, but I think you're going to crush it."  lol lol lol  So I am tired, but just wanted to get a quick line off to all of you.  I love you all ?

                                                                                                  Patty

P.S.  And Mr. Joe Bonamassa, I think I popped a stitch on this quote:

"I tell them, 'I'm not in the guitar or blues business, I'm in the entertainments business," he said.  "I'm no different than Wayne Newton.  Well, maybe a little bit."
lol  lol  lol  lol  lol  lol  lol  lol  lol  lol

Roll  out the barrel buddy cuz we'll have a barrel of fun in Davenport.  I am so ready to see you.  Thanks so much for what you did and I haven't told you in a while, so here goes,  "Joe Bonamassa you're the greatest vocalist, guitarist, and all around great guy, luv ya' lots!!

P.S.P.S.  Bogie, Rick, and Carmine you're the sweetest!!

"I'm not nice to any guitar!"      lol

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Re: Call to "The Wing"

Glad you are home and mending!

Hey, if you break the charm send it back, I made it, I can fix it.  Glad it helped you out "of a pinch" -those staples do pinch coming out, don't they?

Remember, start your marching practice out slowly-but keep the music going all day long-the best therapy in the world!

Love, Sandy

"There's a lot of people that are in so much of a hurry to be, I guess, to be famous or that they don't want to take the time to learn to play and do all that. They'd rather just knock it down off a computer and maybe get on a game show and get famous..That's fine if that's what you want to do.
