Topic: Nico jams with Jill West in Pittsburgh.

Went out to see a local legend tonight at a park less than a mile from my home. Jill West has been playing the blues around Pittsburgh for 20 years. A real pro. Tonight she invited a very special guest on stage to jam. NICO.  She introduced him as being a fan since he was born. Her number one fan. Not one to turn down the chance to jam in front of several hundred people he gladly accepted. I was lucky enough to capture this blues jam on my little dig camera. Little blurry, little shakey, but over all not bad. Be sure to check out the dance step he taught them as they now do this very step everytime they play this song. WOW..What a difference a year makes! I can't stream youtube but I was able to see Nico. He's grown so much! Yikes! And the white guitar, very classy!! I was fortunate enough to have a performance of "Walk in My Shadow" in the parking garage during a rain break at the Western Maryland Blues Festival 2007. Thanks you Jeff. I don't know if I ever told you Jeff, but before I knew any of you guys, Nico was doin' his thang about 3 feet in front of me when Joe played on Stanwix.....I loved it!!

Nice stage presence Nico!!! Not quite close enough to see if he was using a red Jazz III pick.
