UPDATE on Patty's surgery. Just heard from her, everything went fine. She is still in recovery and a "little bit out of it"! lol I told her that I would let everyone here know and that she should get some rest! I will check back with her family later this evening and post an update.

2ND UPDATE: 10:15 pm central time
Doing quite well, sitting up some, eating the jello and broth, and a bit groggy still. Her mom is with her to make sure she has everything she needs.
Patty wanted me to let everyone know that she appreciates all the well wishes and prayers and can't wait to get back to marching! The nurses are supposed to get he up to walk a bit tomorrow. I bet she sneaks a few marching steps in there! lol

Yippeeeeee!!!
I just received a phone call from our darling Patty!!!! She sounded a little groggy and scratchy-throated, but, other than that - ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! I even had her laughing - OUCH!!! Stop that Libby!!!
She wanted me to thank you ALL for the many, many prayers, well wishes, good energy and mojo that was sent her way - she said, "Tell everybody - it WORKED!!!" She also wanted me to tell you that "Joe is in my room, grinning at me." Hmmmm....... I thought he was in Portland......must be those painkillers......... JUST KIDDING - I believe, what she is referring to is the photo that I sent her of a certain couple of Joe fans WITH the MAN HIMSELF!!! Or, maybe she's taken SEVERAL photos of JOE into the hospital with her!!! No doubt! I know that she had a special little collection of things that she hoped to take into the O. R. !!! Yep, more MOJO!!!!
Yesterday she sat up and she's been on a little walk and she expects to be released on Sunday. I'll bet she's gonna be cruising the hallways over the next couple of days passing out Street Team cards and spreadin' the word of Joe. I KNOW that all of the energy from the Forum is UPLIFTING her and will help her to recover more fully and with more speed! She's got her mojo workin' again!!
She wants us all to have a safe and HAPPY FOURTH!!!
