Very Nice... Look forward to seeing them in September...

Music is good for the Soul...

Re: Back Door Slam @ Hartwood Acres last night

Sweet!  Anyone notice that Davey was playing through a Vox amp?  When we saw them in Baltimore, he was using a smallish Fen*er (Deluxe Reverb or similar).  Still sounds like Davey, though :-)

Very good footage I think I was standing next to you taking Pictures in the Rain to your left.
You know what I'd do it all over again, rain & all. It was a night to remember.

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Wow!  Suffice it to say the Blues are in good hands with Joe and Davy at the helm.  What a great band BDS are.  And that powerful voice of Davy's just knocks it out of the park.  Can't wait to see these guys live.

Re: Back Door Slam @ Hartwood Acres last night

Thanks Bob.....excellent job!!  I must have been real close to you when you shot that, too.....that was my view for the whole show.....

I noticed that VOX amp last night, Carl.....and I think I mentioned it to Jeff, or maybe Don.  It was literally stunning to see these 3 kids, with minimal equipment, on a ginormous stage.....nailing everything, and getting most of the crowd to go "What the.....???  Who ARE these guys???"

Hey Bob,
You mean to tell me that you drove up from Cleveland and didn't hook up with me?  OK now I'm pissed, not really. I'm in the process of uploading a few clips also but none compare to your quality.   Where were you standing?  I assume upfront by the fence?

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Back Door Slam @ Hartwood Acres last night

Hey Jeff
Been having a real bad time with my one knee that I injured last year and had to miss Joe's Columbus and Canton shows so my brother seeing the mental anguish that I was in ,offered to take my recording rig & drive down there and film the show for me. Could you ask for a better bro than this ? Drove all the way to Pittsburgh to do that.  Cant take any credit for the filming as this is his handiwork.
I think you met him a couple of years ago at the Marino - Cleveland House Of Blues
show.

I think the reason they set up so far back, Dave, is because there were storms threatening most of the day, and the prevailing wind blows straight at the stage.....

Yer right, that place is huge.....and it was almost surreal to see these 3 kids, with very little gear, mastering it.....
