Topic: 13 year old Smokin Joe newspaper clip

This is a clipping I saved years ago.  I have since had it professionally framed and Joe autographed it for me back in 2002.  I remember when he autographed it...his mom was there with him when I presented it to him.  He looked at it, and asked his mom if he had one of these.  She looked at it and said...yes, that is in your scrap book.  I thought that was just too cool!

I know you've shared this before Marty (I've actually got the image saved on one of my computers), but thanks for tossing it back again!

LOL!  I was playing out in bars 2 to 4 nights a week when I was a junior in high school.  I don't think I turned out too bad.........(at least my wife doesn't think so)    : )

At 14 years old, you have a lot of music ahead of you.  Enjoy it...that's what it is all about.  Try not to get caught up in "trying to make it".  That just takes the fun out of it.  I know this...the more fun it is, the better I play.
The fruits of your hard work will show, weather it's to a local audience, or a world stage.
Enjoy the music Shredderman....and good luck!
