Re: Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk...

Hey Jim,
Yeah I checked their site last week. I like it!  Now the rest of the PGH blues fest is lame, imo.  Now Wheeling on the other hand has a strong line up.  Hartwood this Sunday, you should try and go.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk...

I'll be at Hartwood Sunday, Jeff.....when I get around to it I'll email you my cell.....

I agree, the line up at the PBF this year coulda been better, but I gotta tell you man.....Tab Benoit is a phenomenal performer, seriously one of my favorites, and a super nice guy on top of it.....

I met him, Taj, and Tommy Castro on the BluesCruise in January.  Taj was a little aloof, and his sets were pretty lackluster, in my opinion.  Tommy Castro is a lot of fun and has a great band, but I wasn't planning on going that night until I heard DP.....

But Tab Benoit is seriously the real deal.  Here's a taste:

I'm planning on Wheeling.....definitely for Michael Burks.  I may stay over Friday night, go to the dog track Saturday afternoon, and then see Ana Popovic Saturday night.  I realize the big night is Sunday, but I'll be goin' to Hartwood to see John Hiatt at a free show.....
