Happy Father's Day to you all. If the standard for being a "quality" Dad was based on the men on this forum, the world would be a much better place. Enjoy your day and thanks for the hard work you do as Fathers!!!   Much love, Cathy

The German Father´s day is already over, but anyway - Happy Father´s day, Dad - you rock! lol

Hey Ben - if you´re still here you should wish your dad a happy Father´s day and maybe write a mail to Joe about some Wisconsin tourdates wink.

Re: Fathers Day (15th June)

I might be able to enjoy the day more if I wasn't so shattered, but my Dutch son did come round late this morning to make us a brunch, which was nice, and he'd already given me a present before I left.

For me, this is a day to try and get through till I can crash, as I reflect on the marvels of the last three weeks.

Sat in a foreign city away from my little darling girl!!!

Going to phone the missus and tell her to whack on Bridge to Better days, and have my little one jivin away to it is enough of a joy to keep going on my time away smile(got to teach them young!!)

Would have loved a Bacon buttie when I woke up today, as is tradition in my family for father days, had to settle for a Bratwurst on the street LOL

Missing ya Baby!

Re: Fathers Day (15th June)

Hello Roy,

I know how you feel, I have and feel just the same. Lost my dad because of cancer 22 years ago, I'm married have 2 wonderful children but my father has never seen, felt or hugged one of them.
So has my mother, she died 18 years ago and my oldest sister 13 years ago.........

Thanks mate, you gave me some support with your wonderful note to your dad!!

Re: Fathers Day (15th June)

Andre

I know how you feel as well.  My wife became pregnant with twins in 2006 and we lost a baby girl Sarah on 23rd Feburary 2007 so special occasions like Fathers Day, Birthdays, Christmas  etc... is extremely emotional and every day for that matter.  Looking at my son everyday is heartbreaking and hopefully one day we will be reunited in that great gig in the sky.
