Hi Libby

I can't believe that I had not seen this review until now, even when you emailled me the other day - I guess we miss things when we have two kids under 3 years old.
I've not yet read the review, but I have copied and pasted it to word so I can read it at my leisure through the day (its 12 pages long), and because I should not be on the web that long at work. Will report back in 7 hours!

Duncan,

Seven hours may not be long enough for the Doheny Novella.  Better to allot seven weeks.  I hope you enjoy it.

Dearest Libby,

Thanks for the mail. I completely missed your post... sorry POSTZILLA!

W:)W, W:)W, W:)W  and then some more. It was certainly worth the wait. You were born to write. You paint such a clear picture I feel that I was there too.

What a weekend....The setting.....the weather......the music.....the people......the drama.....the kisses!!......and most importantly ....JOE, CARMINE, RIK and BOGIE on top form, looking good and sounding amazing.

Thank you so much for this literary masterpiece Libby. You get my vote for post of the year.

Hi Libby (and forum)

Yes I did manage to read your whole report on Friday, wow! You write with such an enthusiasm that I found it very hard to put down! I was really impressed with your previous review of Back Door Slam, but you have far surpassed it with this one! I really enjoyed reading it. The intorduction and stories leading up to Joe's appearence just build up the excitement. I'm glad you had such a good time, enjoyed the music, met some idols of yours and made some new friends, that's all what its about! Post of the year indeed!
Just to clarify that wasn't me who got on stage with Eric Burdon smile smile

Re: Doheny 5/18

Well worth the wait. When I first saw how long it was I decided to not read it until I had the proper time to enjoy it. Good move on my part. I wish I was there for that show-festival.

A Heartfelt, Thankyou for sharing Libby,
