Can't wait till Wednesday. As much as I hope & dream; be awful tough for Pens to take 2 more in a row. My son was upriver in Dawson when Sykora scored; wifey was talking to him on phone. She said they were screaming in Canada & Alaska at same time; probably alot of hollarin all over.

Whew !!! A real thriller. Without trying to sound negative here, its a good thing the wings scored the Pens' second goal for them. Then to take it down to 35 secs. to tie it up. Then almost another whole game to win. It doesn't get much more exciting than that. Like you said Jeff anythings possible. They gotta control the puck better and take advantage of power play opportunities. Fleury has gotta be riding high after stopping 55 of 58 shots. If they can do those things they have a chance to force game "8". GO PENS !!!

Yes totally useless for work the next day but well worth it!! You think Malkin will show up in the finals? Trying to be too fancy with passes or he's gun-shy after getting hit(rocked) against Philly. Thank god we have Milbury and Mcguire as our coaches between periods.Bitching about the goalie interference penalties. One could have been unsportsmanlike the way he started kicking at Fluery. The other one at real speed Fluery sold it with a Hasek-like dive. There is a reason they don't coach now!!! How about that Barry Melrose to Tampa rumor? Ok Pens GAME 7! I changed weekend plans so I can see it!!!
Yeah what a game. Fluery was a brick wall, had to be the Wings were coming hard. I was so nervous during the OT periods. The Wings just seemed to want it more than the Pens. We got like 1 shot on goal to their 10. Anything's possible, don't stop believin...
I was reading an article in my local newspaper this morning on the pens and was reminded that another Pittsburgh sports team had a little success in Detroit a couple of years ago too.
Detroit doesn't even need a goalie. Damn what a smothering puck possesion team. Oh well maybe next year. It was a fun year though. Love my PENS!
W.T.F. was going on ??? I'm not sure if the Pens would even have been able to control the puck on a 5 on 2 power play. They almost pulled off a last second tie, but you know what they say about close only counts in.... They played a great season. There is no denying that we are proud of them for getting as far as they did, it is just disappointing to come up short after getting outplayed so badly and only losing 3-2 in a game 6. It will be interesting to see who stays and who goes.

Pitt didn't deserve to win that game. They played in spurts but for the most part they didn't skate very well. That goal where the puck was behind Fluery, the ref reminded me of Brian Doyle Murray at the end of Caddyshack waiting for the ball to drop!! Ok if Barry Melrose gets Tampa job.......LETS GO LIGHTNING! Have a good summer hockey fans! All 12 of us!!
