I wouldn't think you will have too many problems at the door as long as you don't drink alcohol or are under the influence of alcohol.  I would get it touch with the spring and airbrake just to make sure before you go.  Here is the link if you read the FAQ section it does mention age restriction but ring the venue

And as for that beer i'll buy you a coke then seeing your only 17.

I'm sure you can buy him a beer elsewhere if you still have any energy after the gig! Have a great time!

That could be cool. Unfortunately, as I'm only 17 I probably shouldn't take you up on that beer wink But sure, I'll buy you one. I just hope the venue isn't too strict and asks for ID to get in, it did say strictly 18's when i booked the tickets, but ah well big_smile

Matt

Matt:  Joe has managed to assist underage fans to get into shows before if I recall correctly, so you might want to maybe get there a bit early and see if the bus/van/whatever is around the venue and maybe he can help you get in the door if there's a problem with the over-18 "rule".

Good luck and enjoy....and report back.

Yeah thats a good idea Carl, I remember reading a story about that on the forum. So definately if it looks like it could be an issue and there's no other way hopefully Joe could help smile

I'l let you all know what happens either way,

Thanks,
Matt

It seems really strange that a Belfast gig has been planned a few days after i posted my introduction.  Does Joe read this forum i wonder.  Well my dream has come true i have just bought my tickets for the Belfast gig today and im really looking forward to it.  I never did tell you all what cd i did intend to buy that fateful day i bought Joe's by mistake.  It was the new Joe Satriani album.

What is really freaky as well i was suppose to go and see Joe Satriani last Satuarday night here in Belfast and i became very unwell and couldnt go to the gig then i read about Joe Bonamassa playing Belfast that same night.  Was it Fate??

H - E - L - L - O !!!!   N - E - I - L !!!!!  I TRIED to tell you there are no coincidences!!!  Especially not when it comes to Joe and this Forum!!  Do you still have doubts??  Just you wait ......... magically mysterious things are likely to keep popping up ........ until finally you just smile and say, "Gee Whiz!  I guess that ol' Libby was right!!"

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

That night i took ill going to the Joe Satriani gig it definitely was fate or someones intervention.  I had doubts about going to the gig all day and at the last minute i became unwell.  Now what would really make me believe in all these magical & mysterious events is for Pain & Sorrow to be played at the Belfast show as its my favourite track.  That song just blows me away everytime i hear it.

Hey Neil, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has wondered whose CD you meant to buy when you got You & Me? Did you ever go back and buy it, or do you just listen to Joe these days? smile
Good luck with you wish for Pain and Sorrow. Its a great song, but I'm not hopeful he would play it!

I never did buy the new Joe Satriani CD as much as i like him Joe Bonamassa is at the top of my playlist at the moment were he will remain for quite sometime.  I've bought all the CD's except the live album and im just waiting patiently on Sunday coming to get my copy of Live at Rockplast from my 16 month old son for Fathers Day.  And im patiently waiting on the gig here in Belfast & Dublin in a couple of weeks time.  If they allow cameras into the venue i will take a few pics and post them if its ok with Joe that is.

As for the unused Joe Satriani ticket its currently being used as a bookmark.
