Re: Zito Finally Wins One

I may have strayed a bit, but baseball is my favorite sport and it bums me out how the money factor has taken over the game. If only the owners, players, and the agents would put as much energy into entertaining the fans who pay all their salaries as they do into argueing over revenues and contracts, who knows how much fun the sport would be. Lest we forget, it's just a game!!!

I don't want to mess up your thread about Zito, but I'll stray a little bit too for a brief time.

One thing you have in San Francisco is one of the most beautiful ballparks, a treasure in San Francisco.
It really helps the Giants fans enjoy the experience of seeing their Giants play.  They did a superb job in their design of the ballpark and it is a joy to just be there.

For me, the biggest problem with baseball is the lack of leadership in Bud Selig.  Sure he brings in money but at what cost to the sport itself.  That is just my take.
