Topic: ...perhaps it's time...

...hello folks and sir Joe, I'm BEERinc, I've been lurking around this forum for over 2 years but seldom chime in and comment. I'm just still standing here with my jaw on the floor...I moved to Fort Wayne Indiana circa 2005 and heard Joe my very 1st time (ironically "my mistake") on a local radio station ROCK 104 (see rick "DOC" west) comment on Joe on the "ANDY live DVD E.P.K. also ironically recorded here in Fort Wayne Indiana.

Needless to say I was hooked from song 1...luckily the DJ said the name and title of the track, I quickly completed my Bonamassa catalog and proudly own every possible "mumbling word" Joe has put out (minus BLOODLINE)...I have seen Joe here in Fort Wayne 3 times since 2005...1st show was at Piere's (where ANDY live was recorded in 2001)...2nd show was at Fort Wayne Rib-Fest and met Joe as he walked around the outside venue, he signed my copy of ANDY live DVD...(still show this off to all my friends)...and my 3rd show was here in the Fort also at the Embassy downtown Dec 24th the last show of that year I was 3rd row, and had tears in my eyes on several occasions...

For over 2 years I have flooded my day with passing on the word about Joe, I work downtown Fort Wayne as a bartender and play the 2 live DVD's frequently at my bar...I have turned so many people onto Joe's music, (he sells himself)...people come up to the bar and say "who is this guy?"...I instantly brag on and write down the web address for them...I could go on and on about my passion for Joe's music however I'm KNOW we all feel the same...so I will end this intro by saying hello to all you fellow forum members, I know all your names and read your posts daily...so I'm hoping my anti-social self can start to contribute here...I hope anyone from Fort Wayne will write back, I will do a Joe Bonamassa night at my bar if I can get enough people to come out...

Dear Joe...I hope Fort Wayne Indiana makes your list this year for a show, we all love you here and you have a place to stop for lunch before your show anytime downtown Fort Wayne......thanX Mike/BEERinc...more soon

BEERinc...sometimes a name says it all...

KNOW we all feel the same...so I will end this intro by saying hello to all you fellow forum members, I know all your names and read your posts daily...so I'm hoping my anti-social self can start to contribute here...

TWO YEARS MIKE??  Wow!  That's some self-control you've got there!  How could you stay away??  Please allow me the honor of being the FIRST to WELCOME YOU OFFICIALLY to JOE'S FORUM!!!!  I'm so glad that you've jumped in and posted (no matter HOW belatedly - we are GLAD to have you)!!!

About your jaw still being on the floor...... I think our dear Tripsy is in the middle of production of a new line of jaw supports for newbies and the rest of us who still lose control from time to time.  I think I could supplement the line of products with bibs (for the droolers) and hankies (for the weepers).  We all have experienced one or more of those side effects from our Joe shows!!

Yes, basically we do all feel the same, as you say..... so, once again, let me express how happy I am that you've come out to say 'hello'.  I certainly don't read anything in your post that would lead me to believe you are anti-social.......but, I should warn you, now that you're here, we're not likely to let you disappear!!!

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Welcome to the forum BEERinc. Couldn't ask for better pr than playing te DVD for your patrons. BRAVO!!! Instead of writing his name down for them, I suggest you sign onto the Streetteam..You are already doing the work. Instead of writing Joe's info on paper, go to the Streetteam site and download the template for printable cards to hand out.
Thanks for coming out of the shadows and for the work you are doing. Please have a great time here and share all you'd like!   Cathy

Hi Mike, glad to be able to welcome you to the forum. We can get to know you a little as well now. Wow. your bar must be a very cool place to hang out and I think it's brilliant that you have turned so many people onto Joe's music. Well done.

Cheers!.....Tripsy smile

Hey beer, well can git so shall with beer or without beer.  As my Buddy Wise, er, Bill S has insinuated, socializing with beer INC goes over well with many here...My advice is here at the Joe Bonamassa Social Consortium, BYOB (Be Yourself Old Buddy, regarding chiming in and posting not just lurking) is always in vogue.
