Topic: Addicted to Youtube

Where else will you find something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqAuuIDU … re=related
From the 5 minute mark on is nothing but Gary and BB trading licks.

Gary playing the Peter Green Les Paul. Note my avatar. I took that picture in Dallas when the guy that bought it had it there to show. He even let me touch it. It would of been sacralidge if I were to try to play it. I heard Joe played it the next year. Of course I missed that. The avatar will finally change when I get my Joe B signature LP.

Will you play it?

Re: Addicted to Youtube

Jim,
That was "Blues Heaven" for me. You know I'm a big B.B. fan and how could anybody on the planet not love Gary Moore.

Thanks for that one Jim,
Jack

Well not exactly. I can manage the basic chords and a few Chuck Berry licks but that is about the extent of my talent. I just collect guitars associated with a certain guitarist.

I have a few autographed guitars of other players that I have met over the last few years as well. A couple of bass players too.

I am just a frustrated guitarist wannabe that ended up a drummer till I realized I wasn't all that good at that either. I have a set of 70's Gretch and a certain Smith kit associated with above said guitarist. Haven't played in a while but hope to limber up and start playing again some time this year.

Re: Addicted to Youtube

Me too, Jim.  First my Joe addiction, then the Forum, and now Youtube.  I think I got it baaaaaaad.

I really enjoy how YouTube, like many things on the Internet, takes you places you never expected to go, or even knew EXISTED!!!  I'll go on to watch one video and 1/2 later I'm watching someone I've never seen before, or something I've never IMAGINED!  Like Joe, YouTube is yet another gift which is constantly unwrapping itself!  LOVE IT.

Nice videos Kevin.
  Loved this part...."  Age: 48

apparently i lied about my age when i made this profile. i guess i threw it together and the only reason a made a login name was so i could view the video deemed inappropriate for young people. so anyway i am actually 20 years old, not 48  "   lol

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world

Re: Addicted to Youtube

Oh yeah! I've become an even bigger Youtube fan since I discovered how easy it is now to download the clips.

Just get yourself Real Player 11, then google 'K-lite codec pack' and get yourself Media Player Classic which, together with all the codecs, will play virtually any audio and video format out there. Then you can burn all these wonderful and rare clips and share them with those poor unfortunates whose connections are too slow for them to enjoy Youtube themselves. big_smile

Re: Addicted to Youtube

You Tube is so popular it warranted an episode of Southpark that I saw over the weekend. Where else can you watch a 4th grader sing and dance to What What In My Butt, but on YooToob. They went on to lampoon all the most popular hits including Eva's fave the sneezing panda cub. I know some of you just don't get Southpark, but that episode was genius for those of us that do.
