Topic: The sling is slung

Everybody here has been so great with well wishes about my recent shoulder surgery, that I thought I'd give an update.
Thursday, I went and saw the doc for my 5 week checkup. Everything is progressing as planned and he gave me the OK to ditch my sling for good (I may have a ceremonial burning this weekend). What a great feeling to be rid of that!
Anyway, I started the more intensive physical therapy this week. It's great to get my arm moving, even though there's a bit of pain with some of the movements they have me doing. Mornings s*ck, because the shoulder joint stiffens up during the night.
It's all good though, as I can notice improvement almost on a daily basis.
8 weeks of rehab left.

Bravo Bill!

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Now that is good news Bill. It's great to hear the sling is gone and you've noticed improvement. You're on the road to full recovery, so keep that positive attitude up. Hey, when I see you June 9th in Chitown, will you have enough mobility to pick up and sip that drink I'll buy you? Otherwise, I'll get a long straw because you're so tall!

Take Care Bill,

Roy

Roy,
I've been working on my left handed drinking....with the sling off, I can go to either side.
