Re: A fanboy's dream summer....

Yes, this is a Two-Face origin movie. Which is very exciting, I think.

Keaton was amazing, but if this movie is as good as I think it's going to be, I think Bale could become the definitive Batman.

Got that covered too:

Dave Matthews in St. Louis sometime.

Jonny Lang in Ft. Smith in June.

Black Crowes in Tulsa.

I can't think of anything worse than wasting a beautiful sunny Summer day or cool Summer night sitting inside a movie theater.

Outdoor festivals, live music and the sound of Harleys all Summer long.

My brother, nights in Florida are no longer cool, very soon.  I AM riding today...my hair is perfect.  big_smile

And when I can't stand it any more...The Kayak in the lagoon.  I will see those movies, though and come out ga ga.

Besides, nothing more awesome than going from a sweltering summer night into a ice cold movie theater. Ah....

Saw Iron Man today. HOLY BLEEPING BLEEP BLEEP! Amazing! It is better than Spiderman! Robert Downey Jr. kicks serious arse as Tony Stark. And when you go STAY AFTER THE CREDITS! YOU'LL BE BLOWN AWAY!

Re: A fanboy's dream summer....

I would go to see Ironman just for the fact that Chris Martin's wife is in it. Gwyneth was on Letterman last week pimpin' the movie and they showed the scene where she greets Starks overnight guest and informs her she's had her clothes pressed and a cab is on the way to which the guest remarks gee you do just about everything for Mr. Starks and the reply, yes I even take out the trash. Very CATTY. Gwyneth rocks. Hey isn't anybody goin' to see Harold And Kumar?????????? What about The Forbidden City??? Jackie Chan and Jet Li on the screen together!!! How much action do you want??????????????????????????????????? Saw the trailer for Speed Racer at the theater the other day. Hard to watch Emil Hirsch in that after his dynamite performance in Sean Penn's, Into The Wild.

I'm sure I'll go and see it, just because of what it is. It does kinda look like 'Indy by Numbers though'. Looks like there's a quite a few "surely not" moments like the raft scene in Temple of Doom which would ruin it for me i'm afraid.

What I have heard also, is that it's more Lucas than Speilberg, which is also worrying!!

I'll still watch it though, and try to remain open minded!! smile
