Topic: Gov't Mule on Fox And Friends

Seeing Gov't Mule play "Mr. High and Mighty" live was a great way to wake up this morning.  This or one of the other morning shows would be a great way to get Joe some pub in addition to the late night shows.  I still think Conan needs to get introduced to Joe's music as he couldn't help but love it, as he had Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials on a while back.

I couldn't agree more. Nothing like Mule in the morning. I saw Warren Haynes solo at the Jazzfest and with the Mule 3 times last year. I just purchased tickets for the Mule in Atlanta for Nov 3rd and 4th.

Absolutely right, nothin like a little Mule in the morning, or any time of day or night.
The current issue of Hittin' the Note has them on the cover and a nice write-up on the boyz.
The new album is getting some major air time on my CD changer in the car. If you order off of Mule.net, they also send a nice muletracks disc with it.
Can't wait till they mosey into The Roseland Theater next month to play it live and LOUD!!

I have that 4 cd set of the Mule! Its an awesome package. Its mostly live if not all. The Mule is awesome! I bought that Derrick Trucks dvd Song Lines and was very impressed!

That 4CD set is a gem. Hard to find cept on E-bay once in a while.
It gets a lot of airplay on my CD changer. Such a great rendition of War Pigs.

The other stellar Warren Haynes CD that I highly recommend it the Live from Bonnaroo solo acoustic.
It still gives me chills to think about what it would be like to take the stage at Bonnaroo with only a guitar in hand. The music and vocals are stunning.

48-hour countdown to Mule in DC.....should be a great show.  Haven't heard anything from the newly released "High & Mighty" CD but I'm sure it'll be a great show, last time in town Warren did an acoustic first set, and then a kickin' electric set.  Pretty amazing stuff...not Joe, but azz-kickin' jams to be sure...love Warren's tone.

FYI, I just checked Amazon and the 4-disc set (Live with a Little Help From Our Friends) is available new for about $45 and in stock.  Maybe I'll ask for it for Xmas :-)
