What a way to make a statement! My Pens showed the Flyers who the better team is. And with their all star defenseman back in the lineup. Without Timmo the Flyers held them to 4 goals a game, with him in the lineup they give up 6. The young Pens just wouldn't be denied.  Bring on the Wings.  I think the Stars would pose more of a challenge with the defense. Either way it's the toughest trophy in all of sports to win. To be the best you gotta beat the best.  LETS GO PENS!

Hope game 4 is as good as game 3.   Wings are fast, skilled, and tough.  I like how well they control puck and win the battles.   Pens got to ramp it up rest of series.  I'm waiting to see Malkin break out, and looks like Hossa is jinxed again.  If Pens can make it 2-2, I'll feel much better.   Ya know, we have Center Ice and get all the local sports programming from the Burgh. Watched every single Pen game either at home or at bar.  Watched Pens blow thru, dominate everybody thru playoffs only to shutdown in Cup.  Wings really really play great hockey.

How about the shift when Brooks Orpick hit every Wing on the ice, twice. He was a total beast last night. Man is he gonna get paid in the off season. Wish the Pens would pony up and keep him. Young tough, smooth skater that can move the puck. He probably has priced himself outta Pittsburgh's plan.  Malkin played better, but he really needs to take it to another gear to make this series closer. They have a chance. Win Saturday and it's best of 3.

I'm from just north of the Burgh and are for the Pens all the way but I'll be shocked if they beat the wings today let alone 3 games in a row. On the 5 on 3 last night they couldnt even control the puck let alone get off any quality shots. They are looking outclassed in every aspect of the game. Hell yeah OZ is looking good when their defense is playing so good. Sorry Pgh. Jeff and Zhurh. Believe me i'm on your side,and this is not what I wanted my 100th post to be about, but that is the way I am seeing things right now. Oh yeah I almost forgot....Go PENS !!!!!!!

Not looking good right now, thats for sure.  They had to win Saturday, that 5 on 3 was the turning point. They had the crowd, the 5 on 3 for 90 secs and couldn't get it done. HUGE Kill for the Wings. I hate the smothering defense they play. Much rather see up and down skating, hitting, exchange chances. But having said that, A WIN tonight in Motown and back to Pittsburgh for game 6. Hey it can be done.
