O.k. don't laugh or scoff at me but I'm here to tell ya the new Whitesnake kicks some serious a**. Doug Aldrich is one hell of a git box player and Coverdale sounds great. Worth checking out if you like your rock hard.

I must admit I have this one. It's a cracking album and I just love David Coverdale's voice. Surely one of the best voices in the business.

I did wind up getting it the other day and I've listened to it several times...love it.  I was amazed at how well Coverdale's voice has held up over time...he sounds fantastic!

I'd rae Coverdale as the best British blues/rock singer, after Paul Rodgers -

interestingly enough they come from the same area of northern England!

Hehe, I've actually got tickets to see Whitesnake + Def Leapord in Belfast in June. I wouldn't consider myself a big fan of them, as i don't actually have any of their music but i liked the cover whitesnake did of Deep Purple's Burn and Stormbringer.

Also its the day after my exams finsih so some loud rock music couldn't hurt

I'd have to second Joe's opinion concerning the Whitesnake DVD 'Live In The Still Of The Night'. Excellent, and actually one of my favorites in my collection . The cinematography, and the performance is all spot on.

Another one I just checked out (using up my Xmas gift cards). A good solid outing rom Coverdale and Whitesnake. Not the '80's Whitesnake but almost there.

Simply one of the best rock n roll bands of all time.... IMO ! Doug's a monster player and Coverdale is just a pro's pro ! And I say all this before I buy the album. I'll guarantee it rocks... just like the Live DVD did. Top of priority list !
