Cathy...
please please please if you can tell Chris i said hi and that i'm looking forward to playin with him out here in hawaii again next year!!!
enjoy the show...i'm envious!
Have a great time Cathy. Tell him I enjoyed the show in London. He's a really nice guy.

What a great time!! The place was packed. I saw Carl and his lady, plus the Bonamassa fan in his Sloe Gin shirt that doesn't play "forum". Chris was in great spirits, really happy with life, and that means on his game. I asked for "Something Wicked" early and he obliged, then I got the pick!!! (or plectrum as they say across the pond)...Nonstop first set covered at least 3 of his CD's. He also had the ability to make his guitar sound like a Hammond, that was wild! Sat on his speaker and played, rocked as he does, and cried out at times..He is fully committed to each song.
I gave him love from the Bonamassa fans and.... Vince...He said he'd give you a call!!
C.D. is another humble, friendly guitar player that we all like to support!! Hope you can catch a show! Cathy
I just saw Chris the other night in Annapolis, MD. Most intense player ever...and a hell of a nice guy. Great band too. Chris ROCKSss
What a fantastic night of music that was Roy - can't wait to see Chris again. I was the
first one in line and he came out and gave me his guitar strings and other stuff - super
nice guy ! I remember pushing Dawn into that picture - and it turned out so neat!

Vince...He said he'd give you a call!!
cool thank you so much for passing on my message! Chris is a dear friend of mine and probably the biggest mentor i've ever had...
i'm stoked that you enjoyed the show! again...i'm envious!
a guy was taping the show and was in my way...said he'd be willing to give me a free copy...
so hellllooooo? are you out there about that free taping?
In a nutshell, it's always great to see Chris but I was disappointed in general because of the crappy state of the PA at KClinger's....didn't realize until the show was almost over that the main (PA speaker) on the side we were sitting on was completely out...went over to the other side and you could at least hear the vocals.
TBH, although I always enjoy Chris' playing....I've been somewhat less impressed lately than I was at first (5-6 years ago) as it seems like he's more prone to extended free-form jazz explorations in between his drum-tight Texas-funk groove that I love SO much (ala Big Legged Woman, Scrawl, etc.). Still, he always puts 150% of himself on the line every show...the place, full, might have been 60 people, but he played like it was a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden....gotta love him for that. Not to mention, just a nice, friendly, approachable guy....just like our friend Joe here.
Vince: I had an opportunity to chat briefly with Chris on Wednesday night and didn't know that Cathy would remember to pass on the message that you sent your regards, so I did....he had nothing but nice things to say about you and promised he would call you Thursday...did he?
Specifically, he said you had great energy....coming from Chris, that's a pretty big statement...maybe you're not such a bad guy :-)

For future reference, Mantegna...you might want to ask for an email address, phone number, and offer the taper a frosty adult beverage of his choice....might help ;-)
Just a thought....
