Topic: Robin Trower

Had a nice vacation in Myrtle Beach and caught Robin Trower at the House of Blues.
Have seen Robin many times.
Of course this was an outstanding show.
He totally revamped his set list and instead of opening with Too Rolling Stoned, chose Twice Removed From Yesterday.
Daydream was the encore.
Fantastic guitar player.
61 and going strong.

Re: Robin Trower

I wanted to go to the Cleveland show, but did not hear about it before it was already sold out.  sad

Davey Pattison?  Isn't he the guy that sang for Gamma?  Gamma was the band Ronnie Montrose put together back in the '80s(?).  Ronnie is an amazing guitarist, & you're right, Davey does have an amazing voice!

Yes, Davey Pattison was indeed the lead singer in Gamma, they made a couple of really good albums, especially the first one. He also had a stint with Robin Trower back in the late 80's. And is now back with Robin as of the "Living Out Of Time" album which came out before the DVD of the same name.

Re: Robin Trower

Living out of time is awesome. I wish Robin Trower would come to Dallas, Fort Worth.

Re: Robin Trower

XM radio is doing a live broadcast of Trower's show this Thursday (June 29) at B.B. Kings Blues Club in New York. It will be on Deep Tracks channel 40 beginning at app. 9:00 pm eastern.

Re: Robin Trower

I like the "Living Out of Time" dvd so much I bought the cd.  Which makes me think I'd definitely buy a copy of Joe B "Live at Rockpalast" if it gets put out on cd.
