Topic: Hi from England

Hi,
I have been following Joe since seeing him perform with BB King, it was obvious Joe was extremely talented and great things were come.
My son aged 16 has Muscular Dystrophy which has left him in a wheelchair and on a ventilator, music bands and gigs are his life. He is very picky about what he listens too and it is only recently that I have got him to pay attention to Joe. He is in awe and cannot wait to see him live. Joe if by chance you get to see this message, you have made a big impression on a young man who has a had pretty raw deal in life, thank you..See you in Birmingham (and Bristol if I can get tickets).

Re: Hi from England

Welcome mbcl! Props to you for the care demands of your son! I'm an R.N. so I know all the issues. The fact that music touches him so much warms my heart. And that he's so fond of Joe tells me he's got great taste!! Tell him we all say Hi!. Hope you get to the show and please give us a review.   Cathy

Re: Hi from England

Welcome mbcl, good to have you here.  Funny you said that your son likes Joe.  I have an autistic daughter and she's also picky on what she will listen to, and she does like Joe as well.  The other day she was upset about something, so I put on Bridge To Better Days, and I had her dancing around with me. Joe is good for us all.  wink

Re: Hi from England

Welcome to the forum mbcl. I am very happy to hear that music brings your son so much pleasure. One of the biggest joys in my life is music and gigs also. Even though he has his health problems when it comes to appreciation of great music like Joe's we are all the same. Credit to you for all you do. I can't make Birmingham but I have tickets for Liverpool. Enjoy yourselves.

Tripsy...:)
