It was quite funny what Steinbrenners son said in response..." I hope his co-workers kick the s*** outta him!....not the most professional thing to say, especially if your running the team for your dad  wink ....I'm pretty superstious myself when it comes to baseball, so who am I to say anything...."Deb, dont wash them socks, we've won 5 games in a row"....actually was said to my wife, she looked at me like I was crazy!!

I don't think it would've cursed the Yanks. I think it has already cursed David Ortiz who is batting.074! Now that they got his shirt out and exorcised the demons he may get some hits!!

They estimated the cost to remove that shirt at $50,000. I read that in the Chicago Sun Times today.
Wow, that's one expensive jersey!
