Any of my UK friends heard of this jazzy jam band out of Leeds, UK? What's the 411 folks, I got turned on to them at a Bar & Grill in SF today before the Giants game. I found their groove rather infectious.

I love to play clean funk stuff ... Not much call for it these days. So great to see a band playing that stuff to a full audience and obvioulsy lovin' it.

JDAWG, Steve is the original Funky Dr. I remember when we were all skinny and had long hair. Did a couple shows with them when both Lennys were still there. CT and Bruce Conte I lost track of. Lost track of all of them. Haven't talked to mimi or doc or rocco in 32 years.

Yessir Big JJ, I've had some funky good times with the East Bay Greasers over the past 30 yrs. myself. Speaking of which, I got funked last night in The City. Went to see Back Door Slam, they opened for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. I knew the Dozen was from N'Orleans, but I was expecting something along the lines of the Preservation Hall. Much to my surprise these guys slapped me up side da head wif da funk.
