Topic: BDS Thanks

Hi All,

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Joe and everyone for all of the fantastic support that you have given BDS over the past few months.

I know that I am not only speaking for myself when I say that we (family, friends and of course Davy, Ross and Adam) have been totally blown away by all of your kindness and generosity...it really is quite overwhelming and very much appreciated!

Kind Regards

Martin

Re: BDS Thanks

A massive "you are VERY welcome" right back to you, Martin!  As you know, many members of our little forum family are very fond of your lads!  It's been fun for us too, watching them explode across our nation!  With that much talent, it is hard to control the infectious enthusiasm, really!  I am THRILLED that I will have my first opportunity to see them perform, just NEXT WEEK!  I hope I get the chance to meet with Davy, Ross, and Adam and give them (yet another) warm Bonamassa family reception!

By the way, you mentioned family and friends.....are you family?  friend?  Either way, let me once again welcome you to Joe's forum!  Glad you could join us.  Sit down, relax, and enjoy the ride!!!

Re: BDS Thanks

Very classy to say thanks. Never get enough of that. It's easy to cheer BDS on..they are really nice, young men with talent. Davy will be a legend. I have no doubt. It gives the Bonamassa fan family a sense of pride.

And to all: Please take a proper English tea like P.G. Tips, cookies (the chocolate chips were a hit). I know Ross misses Magners Cider but I forgot what Davy likes..I'll get back with that info. Got to help the lads not miss home as much.   Mothering Cate

Mommy Cathy´s right as always! smile

Re: BDS Thanks

Right back at you, Martin.  Those 3 young lads are going places and I'm happy to be along for the ride.  Now, if they'd just play a Blues festival in the vicinity of Iowa, USA, I could see them live.

Re: BDS Thanks

Howdy from California Martin. The thanks should be directed to JBrules or Paul in Boston as I believe he brought BDS to our attention last year after seeing them in New England. I'll be hangin' with the Man lads a week from this Sat. when they return to San Francisco for the third time since last Nov., the more the merrier. My partner in crime, Shred It aka Dave and I are going to help them and Evan on the merchandise table or however it works out, we may even try to get there early enough to help load in too. Their enthusiasm is infectious and a joy to behold. Welcome and enjoy.

Re: BDS Thanks

Martin,
I saw BDS Sunday at a sold out show in Chicago and I gotta say, their definitely easy to support. I was impressed by what I'd seen and heard on cd/you tube, but even more impressed by the live show.
I brought 2 friends who had only heard the recent cd and 1 (my brother) who had never heard on note of theirs before...all 3 are now big fans.
Wish I could have stuck around and met the guys, they seem like really nice blokes who were enjoying themselves immensely. Chicago fans sure enjoyed the show....I think they'll need a bigger venue next time.

Thanks Libby.
That show must have just been added recently. It's not yet on the venue's website.
Even though it's a Monday night, I'm not going to miss it.

When are the boys coming to tour the UK, we need to set up a street team campagn? You can join the "Slammers", which is their equivalent of Street Team on their site. www.backdoorslam.com  Lots of us belong!    Cathy
