The 10:00 is Eastern time, so 9:00 for us CST's.

Well, I guess talent really doesn't always run in the family.  Some of that stuff was pretty hard to watch but Crosby Loggins rocked.  You guys have until Saturday to vote.  To vote for Crosby Loggins call 1-866-979-7908.  I already voted.

P.S.  I don't think they care how many times you vote.

I watched this and one of the judges said he was secretly sexy. I think he was the best. Voting is opened until Saturday 4/5. Here's his number 1-866-979-7908.

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Ahh Susan, brilliant minds think alike!  I hit redial about 10 times too.

You are being kind Susan. As a admitted American Idol watcher I would say that was shear torture to watch. Crosby being last was the only reason I stayed tuned. Unfortunatley for Crosby I'm thinking not everybody would be so patient.

Not just becaue I'm biased a little but he truly was the only one that looked like he had seen a stage before and could actually sing. The judges pick was Lucy Walsh. Granted she could sing betther than her dad.

I will be taping future shows with the FF button ready to skip through all the crap next time.  I will be voting not because he is family but because he is the only deserving one.

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Great performance, Crosby.  I voted like I was from Chicago (well, not dead but multiple times).  Good luck next week and I think the important thing is just to have fun with it and enjoy the exposure.

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Gotcha' covered Crosby!!  You're the ONLY reason I watched and voted!!!!!!

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Crosby also was the only one who played an instrument!!!  Of course, singing is subjective, but I was surprised Lucy Walsh's scores came in that high, she's very pretty...shame her dad wasn't there.  I think that whole scene seems nerve wracking and it seems like long waits between performances...I think you have to get your mind in a place where you can perform your best and relax and have fun at the same time...it has a way of showing.  I hope Crosby takes it all the way. smile  Good luck Crosby!!

How about Dee Snider's son...brave soul to do Robert Plant.  And Jdawg, Eddie Money is a trip, what a character!

Besides playing guitar, I think one of Crosby's real strengths is his songwriting and I sure hope he can utilize that at some point in the competition. When I heard they were singing songs describing their relationship with their famous parent I thought maybe Crosby would sing the song he wrote for his dad, "Same Old Song". It's a great tune, but I'm sure they had to select something more well known.

I think I got a problem Houston!

Apparently to vote you have to be US resident!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if this can be monitored online? - i clicked vote and it seemed to be accepted but i assume that it will be thrown out once they realise its come from a UK computer?????? sad

"Stellar" a word used by Joe Bonamassa (also apt as a description of the man himself cool)

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Crosby did a beautiful job!  Certainly, it would have been nice if he was first but it was cool to watch & listen to his performance.  You also could vote by texting; the number is 97979 and you just put '8' in the body.

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Jdawg-Eddie Money's on the radar and I haven't thought about or followed him in years...at 6 something this morning in the dreary rain, I dropped 2 of my kids by the bus stop...first song on the radio...Two Tickets To Paradise...I proceeded to talk to Eddie thru my satellite radio (is that possible my favorite martian?)...I need a chaise lounge, some sunshine and tropical drinks served with cute little umbrellas by a body of water...If I break a sweat and am too relaxed and lazy to cool off, may the most handsome man from the cabana come to my rescue by lightly misting me with cool water. tongue Then I Woke Up Dreaming, came home,  opened e-mails, 1st one is from Ticketmaster...Eddie Money's coming to town... lol

Crosby-BEST OF LUCK and remember...whatever will be, will be SO just relax, be yourself and show them what you got.  I thought you were great! smile

Re: MTV - Rock The Cradle

Crosby looked and sounded great, although I did think the back up band was a bit overpowering at times........I had trouble hearing HIS guitar........and I thought the mic was a little high and hid his handsome face, thus, perhaps, garnering the "secretly sexy" remark from the judge.

Beyond having fabulous vocals, I know what a great guitar player and songwriter Crosby is and I hope that the audience is treated to a larger more clear picture of his MANY talents.  Best of luck Crosby - I am voting away like crazy and have asked 100 or so of my friends to do the same!!  Relax and enjoy!
