Topic: Yamaha Acoustic Guitar

Joe has a one page ad in the new Guitar Player with a very fine photo holding a beautiful L Series Yamaha handcrafted guitar available through Yamaha Rosewood Dealers.

"Just like Joe Bonamassa, let the L Series inspire your musical imagination."

I was wondering if Joe's been playing this new guitar on tour or maybe its with the US rig?

Re: Yamaha Acoustic Guitar

Hi Angela Joe has played a Yamaha in Bochum its a six string ( so he has one in europe too) wink
i own a yamaha accoustic too
what i like is that the strings are very close at the fretboard and its more easy to play
and my yamaha was real cheap(145euro`s) bud has a great sound and is well worked
I like Yamaha accoustics with electrics i have no experience i heard only that they not so good.

Ps: mabye joe can tell us some about his Yamaha experience ???

Re: Yamaha Acoustic Guitar

My bro had a cheapish Yamaha it was quite a nice guitar low action quite loud and it had a good feel to it, but as far as acoustics go my old Crafter Twin Birds was amazing electrics was also very good infact im thinking of going out and buying it back..

Re: Yamaha Acoustic Guitar

My first guitar was a yamaha acoustic that sounded great and did not cost a lot to start.  Their higher end guitars are VERY nice as well. they can easily hold their own against any of the higher end models of other higher priced brands.
