That IS pretty cool...wild actually. Reminds me of that movie Total Recall.
{I wonder if we could volunteer specific people to go up there and try it out. }

OK, now that it's April 2nd, it's time to explain this awesome story. Google dishes out a large plate of BS every April fool's day and this year was no exception!!!! My favorite published prank was in Sports Illustrated years ago when the late great George Plimpton reported a story from Mets training camp about a young phenom pitcher named Syd Finch. Syd supposedly possesed a 104 mph fastball that increased in velocity as the game progressed. This was verified by comments from the Mets catcher at the time who played along complete with pictures of his throbbing hand. His quirkiness on the mound was said to make Mark "The Bird" Fidrich look completely normal. Plimpton's tip off was revealed later that he started the opening paragraph with words whose first letters spelled out April fools. It's a classic as many sports enthusiasts as well as the media ran with it considering it's source. LOL, already thinking up something for next year.

How cool is that????
By coincidence, I just discovered that my neighbor at work is also a closet Trekkie. After persistent badgering on my part he admitted today that he quite liked the Joe links I sent him, so we've arranged an exchange tomorrow.
I'm bringing him 2 gigs worth of Joe on a memory stick while he's bringing me a dvd with the very best Trek episodes, including both Tribble ones.
Then, when he's downloaded the Joe music, he's filling the stick with more Trek.

You mean that wasn't true? I already started packing my husband's bags, told him he was going to Mars. Damn, foiled again.
Sorry Mindy & George, but it's not too far down the road. Martian Chronicles anybody?

There is too much radiation on Mars to support human life. Especially since the atmosphere is so thin
