Exactly, Darrin. If I were you, in these days of uncertainty, if that job is yours for the taking, then TAKE IT. You can always move on later. But, a job, any job, at less pay and without benefits, is better than no job. Just ask my friend who I told you about privately.
Funny also that you brought up golf. It's the one thing I think I forgot to mention in my email to you. When my husband went thru this years ago, the driving range became his place of solace......quiet, peaceful, contemplative......all good.
