Topic: Hello All! from CJP UK.

Hey guys hows it goin, been a Joe Bonamassa Fan for about 2 months now, i must say, since then its really all i've seriously listen. Got all of his albums! Bloody Fantastic!
This guys music has inspired me to keep playing the guitar, been playing for about 4 years now, lessons for about 1 of them, and i've been into the Blues for about 2 of those years. Stevie Ray, B.B. King etc.
I'm trying to get my old practice regime back like i used to. A real inspiration to play. I'm not sure what else to say really lol.

Chris..You couldn't have made a better intro..That you are inspired to play by Joe is a huge compliment. There are plenty of others here who can answer questions and help you in that quest. We are expecting our European friends to have a forum jam when we come for the RAH show next year..So, crack that whip and prepare for the invasion!     Cathy

Hi all JB fans, you have so much fun on this forum that I couldn't stay away.

I have been a fan of Joe for a few years and first saw him in Brussels in 2007, followed by, Holmfirth UK, and Telluride for the Beer and Blues Festival there. That was the first time I heard Joe play the new intro to Mountain Time, in the open air surrounded by Mountains. What an experience!!!!!! This year I managed Nottingham, Crewe UK and Groningen in Holland. As you can see I just can't get enough of Joe and the Boys live. I will be at Liverpool in July and the RAH next year.

I started playing guitar in the late 50s when I was 8 and have played, "badly" with amateur bands on and off since then in the UK and still do. I have seen most of the "Big Names" live at some time or another, Peter Green, Clapton, Jeff Beck, Paul Kossoff, Rory Gallagher, Joe is up there with them. They all share the ability to transmit passion and emotion through their playing.

In the meantime I'll keep bashing out blues with a few mates in the back room of my local pub, talking to you guys and catching "live music" wherever I can.

Welcome to the wonderful Joe Bonamassa forum CJP.  We know where you're coming from.  You go see Joe one day and the next you're ordering all the CDs, DVDs coz you've caught the bug!
