Albert Cummings will be doing a free 90 min. set on 5/29/08 at University Plaza Park in Hagerstown,MD at 5pm.This is the nite before the Western Maryland Blues Festival starts.

I have to pay $40.00 to see him on 6/7, but I'll be watching him on the shores of the American River in the Sierra foothills/Ca. gold country instead of Hagerstown and we get Curtis Salgado, Roy Rodgers, Tommy Castro, and Los Lobos with him.
Free is good though,

It was my very great pleasure to meet Bob in Hagerstown yesterday on what turned out to be a day as close to perfection as you could ever wish for. More of that in my 'Dear Diary' entry later.
I'm officially signed on as an Albert FAN!! Now I know where Eva got her signature from - and I couldn't resist posting my first ever signature once I heard the right words from the man! I have also offered to be Albert's European 'under-assistant west coast promo man' once I get back home. This man MUST play in Europe!! Michael, are you on board with Andre, Eva and me?

I keep checking his tour schedule all the time, but he just won´t come over here and play a few little shows for us poor Europeans - hope he will someday ...
I mean - we can´t all go and invade Cathy´s home just to see Albert play.

As I mentioned before on this wonderful board, the best opening for Joe would be Albert Cummings or Stoney Curtis.
I see Stoney next Saturday in Schoeppingen Germany so Albert would be wonderful in the RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since the first time I heard his music I was a fan. Like eva says he must come to Europe!
Like her i watch his tourcedule every week but NO EUROPE.
