Andre's explanation is, of course, spot on. However, a 'liefhebber' is not a 'lover' in the English personal sense, but someone who really likes 'something' in a non personal emotion way, like music or a book or nature. You wouldn't use the word to describe your feelings about a particular lady, for example.

Thanks for the sweet reactions, y'all.

Ahh world of joe lovers  In other words slobbering, drooling, fanatic Joe-aholics.  got it!  Roy is becoming a real southern cracker after losing his mind out his...er...to the cammode...He's less full of it than usual.

I however am a quiet, shy and retiring gentleman and rather wishy-washy too.  Verstehen?

Sorry Joe, you've lost me on this one. Maybe you'd care to explain.

Joe it is really your call whether you stay on the forum. But when you make a mockery of someone's serious post you have to think it can be misconstrued what your meaning is. Your obsession with controversy real or imagined over whether your contributions are welcomed is getting old.

Where is the old Joe Beacon. The one that taped the shows that so many of us enjoyed. Only posting when you had something important to let us know about. The sense of humor you have shown us latley has been juvenile and disruptive to the forum.

I don't want the Joe Beacon that used to post here to go away. I just want the one that has been posting latley to quietly disappear.

Actually the guy (me) knew who he was talking to and I can confirm that it wasn't meant for you Joe....my message was to George. But chill out a bit....life's bad enough at times as it is.

Joe, Ask and thou shall receive. We have tried to handle this off site. Due to your constant baiting of the moderators and seeming lack of concern on how your contributions affect others here. Phil and I have decided to restrict your access to the forum. Other wise known as ban for the next 30 days. If you want to be reinstated you may request so at that time.
