My  first  posting   and   its  fitting after  Rory's  60 th  . I have  seen  Joe  3  x now  in the  UK . He  should  gig  in Ireland as  he  has the "ear"  for  different  sounds.

I was  also  lucky to see  Rory  3  times  live  and  he  was  even  better  than they  say: Joe  B  has a similar "feel"and  "warmth "  live  in that  he clearly enjoys what  he does  and  comes across as  a  genuinely  nice  guy .
I also young  Davey in BDS   has  the  " Rory "  factor" .

Hopefully  see some  for  the Rory  Gallagher Festival  in Ballyshannon ( Ireland)  in June  2008  when we  celebrate  musically   his  birthday  .

Best  to you  all    and  see  you  at  the Albert Hall

I like celebrating Birthdays, they have happy memories. I am certain there's a huge party on Planet Blues/Rock today. I also sure Rory feels the love. As long as musicians like Joe sing his praises he remains an important part of today's music. No RIP from me, instead...Rock on Rory!      Cathy

happy 60th rory.my memory of rory is going to see him once at derby assembly rooms,incredibly not many people turned up to see him.did rory cancel the show? no,did he storm out of the venue,sulking,no.what rory did was he put a chair in the middle of the hall and we all sat on the floor around him and he played us an acoustic set.it  was absolutly fantastic.after his set he hung around to chat and have a drink with us all.what an absolute star,and a real gent.rip rory you are still and always will be one of the best   steve
