Topic: Sheffield - The Plug

Well what can I say but genius absolute genius. Have just got back from the gig but just wanted to post a few words to say how good Joe was tonight.

His playing was awesome, as usual, and he blew me and my brother away. Expect a full-ish review from my brother (Rockinhorse) in the next few days. In the meantime I'll catch my breath and get some sleep as it's work tomorrow.

Roll on Tuesday and Leeds when I get to do it all again.

Cheers Joe (not forgetting the rest of the band, who were brilliant as well), see you soon.

Welcome JD,
So glad to hear you had a great time at the concert tonight and thanks for taking the time to check in before you call it a night.  I'm sure you'll have sounds of genius Joe dancing thru your head until you fall asleep.  Isn't he and the rest of the band just the greatest!!  Sleep tight and get rested up for Tuesday.  SSShhhh....JD is sleeping.   wink

Re: Sheffield - The Plug

Thanks and welcome to Joe World..The feeling Joe gives also reminded me of the way SRV made me feel. Hope is a wonderful thing!    Cathy

Re: Sheffield - The Plug

I agree with you both there. The first time I saw SRV (not live i'm afraid), I was left open mouthed and couldn't believe what I had just seen. Very similar experience on Friday night, but obviously up close is a different story altogether.

Can the people in Joe's camp please wrap him in cotton wool in between shows cuz this light needs to shine long and bright for a very long time to come!!
