Re: I've got the blues today and need to vent!

Hey Angela,
Thanks for all of the info.  I actually sent you an email.

I'm feeling a little better myself, but my poor guys are still pretty bad.  I went to the store in my PJs to get everything to make them homemade chicken noodle soup with dumplings.  I made a huge stock pot.  It took forever to make it because I was feeling run down and had to keep resting, but so worth it.

I just wish I could get some of my chicken soup to Joe . . .

Hi Fretwork,
I didn't get your e-mail, I looked in junk mail etc.   I make chicken soup all year long except the summer when its really hot...I use the big roaster chicken (all white meat-2 to a pack) so there is lots of chicken and mainly carrots as the vegetable, cook noodles for the kids & rice for the hubby on the side, because the broth gets sucked up by the starch...its a different sort of comfort food...Home made chicken soup would do Joe some justice right about now!!! smile  Talk soon.

Edited to add-Fret, I just noticed you don't have an e-mail under your name...try again at angela@bonamassabluesrock.com

Ladies, I'm just joining the chicken soup band wagon. The ultimate comfort food when you're sick. Angela, I cook my noodles/rice seperately too! If you're in a hurry, The store sells cooked roasters..1 meal from the meat then soup. It is a shame we can't get some to Joe!!    Cathy
