Re: Jonny Lang's websiteis a lot like Joe's

I agree with the crossroads analagy Kieth. I just think he has been there way too long. He needs to pick his path and get on with it.

Jonny's a great talent, but one who seems torn between being a blues guitarist and a white pop soul singer. It was quite apparent when I saw him last summer that was the case. He certainly seems to be at a crossroads in his career, and hopefully he will come through it artistically speaking in a better place.  I don't feel he's bridged the two successfully, but it'll be interesting to see whether or not he can meld the two forms and forge his own sound.

this identity crisis is why I never really identified with his music...skipping through too many songs on a cd to keep it close to my list of needed music.

That would be so awesome.  I really like Joss Stone.  She can sing great and she is absolutely gorgeous.

They did collaborate with Herbie Hancock. I saw the documentary on it once entitled "Possibilities." Amazing stuff.

The last two times I saw Jonny I was totally bored.  Before that he was one of my
favorite artists - Wander This World is a masterpiece.  Just my two cents.... Jaci
