Re: Cheese and Grain, Frome

Hey Matt & Lyn, you were braver than I to queue up in those temps!!!

You must have been queing already when I got there at about 6.45, I came across to see what time the doors openend but the pub called as it was freezing. It might have been easier to stop and chat if I was more aware of you friendly folks on here.

Since Friday I've sought to share the JB experience with others, today I was working away from my normal site and was writing down Joe's name for a working colleague, only to be stopped as she had gone to see Joe in Crawley last week - small world for discriminating music fans!

Cannot keep such quality quiet, the word is spreading!

Paulm - you should have headed to the front of the Q to say hello!  Mind you, we looked like arctic explorers so you may not have recognised us.

If I'd known you were there I would have come over to say hello, before high tailing it to the pub to get warm.

Glad you all enjoyed the show at Frome and had a safe journey home.

I'm sure the weather will be better when (fingers crossed) Joe plays the RAH next spring.

Re: Cheese and Grain, Frome

Matt..great job!! Check the weather and take a coat next time..(ah, young ones!) I think Scott was "taken to school" by Joe. He did seem to have moments of tech issues, but there were good moments too.   Thanks to all who tell us these stories. You know how needy we are! Joyous Joe to you all!!!      Cathy

anyway I don't think he ever "always" does something, thats like never say never to me tongue

he always plays pretty much the same set.  i saw him four times throughout the year last year and the setlist is still very similar to the first time, and minus don't burn down that bridge and one of these days identical to all the rest.  so id say it is a safe bet hell always play the same basic set.

If wine and pills were hundred dollar bills
I might keep you satisfied
