Hi Everyone
Thanks for all your welcome messages. You are all much friendlier than the guys who log in to The Blues Band forum, where replies are fairly rare.

Andre: How did you manage to post on this forum if your computer is broken? My taping from my computer are fairly basic (small tape machine beside the speaker), someone else with more technical knowhow might do a better job!
Cathysiler: Yeh! I like Anysley Lister too! I have a pal, who lives in Liverpool, who has seen him a number of times, but I haven't got to one of his gigs yet.
BigJeffJones: I really do live in England. There are a lot of blues fans here, you know. We are currently going wild about Joe, who we think is really awesome. Do you know that there is a new blues band in Kansas, who play songs written by members of The Blues Band?
Michaellynch: There were about 80, or so in the audience. There was a draw for the tickets. We had to either e mail, or write in. They were then pulled out of a hat. Hundreds evidently applied, so I was extremely lucky. The tickets were free. We just had to be able to get to the BBC Maida Vale studios on the evening of the recording. All The Paul Jones Show production team are extremely friendly and are really dedicated to promoting the blues. The producer Paul Long also plays the blues. He plays with a band called The Riotuous Brothers. They play in the Hampshire area of England.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to get to any other of Joe's UK gigs, as I'd already booked The Empire, Shepherd's Bush date (this coming Friday) for something else. I wish I could be in two places at once! Still, it's Geno Washington who I'm going to see, at Camberley Theatre, Surrey. Geno is always fun. Do you like him?
