Shawn Lane...1963-2003

A thread about Craig Erickson led me to Shawn Lane. I can't believe I never heard of this guy before, but I've never seen a more technical guitar player in my life! He made Steve Vai look slow! Here's an early clip of him from an instructional video. Not really of his music, but just shows his amazing chops.

There are more videos on youtube with his music, unfortunately he died from a chronic disease that affected his lungs (I think).
