big_smile I did a gig at this venue when I was about 17 and got a shock from the mic while I was holding my guitar that knocked me clean across the stage. I'm 50 this year......is it too late to take legal advice? ;-)

Sorry to hear about your shocking trip!  You were very lucky that it wasn't worse. 

Poor Les Harvey, of Stone The Crows, wasn't so lucky at Swansea Toprank, back in 1972.

It's probably to late to claim now, I don't even know if the Shrimper's Club is still there.

Fortunately, The Blues Band survived their gig there unscathed. Their "fly on the wall" CD is pretty wild and Jaggerish.  It's well worth the P & P.
