Topic: Lookout Mumbai (formerly known as Bomabay-xtra a 4 Censor), India

Might surprise some, but people in Mumbai are going to really enjoy Joe Bonamassa.  They are more versed in American Blues than one might think, plus they're open-minded and free-spirited (in many ways)...Joe & Co. I CAN wait (get your rest fellas) to hear the response you received! But what ever became of the Dubai gig? Go/No Go? I wish you very well, rest well, and then LOOK OUT U.K.!!!!!!!

Joe mentioned during the Vegas show that he was traveling to India and Dubai. So I assume it's on. smile

We understand there is quite the female following for Blues in India. Should be interesting to say the least.

Yeah I know, but I never got a date for Dubai and I had a possible Middle East trip coming up.  Don't matter now!

Funny you mention what I left out on purpose Phil...The cat's out of the bag, so I guess I can mention I've been considering starting a bluesmanship career launched from India for a while now...Red Ball Jets (an old school sneaker brand, appropro for ol' Rocket's stage footware in India) sold on Ebay or anywhere?:cool: Joe better beware of any Indian Mother surreptitiously making a proposal for her daughter under the ruse of an autograph...It may be a contract!  lol

I'm a Bonabay native - been in the US since I was 3. Joe & co are playing in a nice part of Bombay - Bandra. I emailed my cousins who live there to go check him out. Sloe Gin was playing in my car when they visited in the Fall and they liked it.

Joe and Co: have a blast there!!
