I was 17 years old the first time I roadied for a Soul Band in a bar in a ghetto.  I was an enigma because of skin color.  The older crowd was the one that showed me a little bit of love and I showed them RESPECT.  I was on my own already.  It was tough and I didn't have the security of woofing from behind a desktop half a world away.  My opinion was worthless.  My experience was the only thing of value, what little I had.

The more compassionate among us will undoubtedly point out that one soul saved is worth the effort.  Y'all can do it.  I usually realize, rather quickly, when some brat needs their diaper changed.  I see wankers & posers everywhere at jams and they get me tired...and grumpy.

I don't agree with everyone on here all the time.  So what?  I would never come here and say that a forum that was here before I got here was all wrong.  A lot of the rockers here would say I'm one of those obstructionist purists.  Again so what?  It's all good.

My first love is R & B.  So I don't play in punk bands, rock bands, etc.  I will play in jazz or show bands if they'll have me.  I play and sing the blues.  I knew even at a young age that playing anything else would not make me a blues man.  I've paid some dues.  I know what I am.

This site is different and it is the best.

bigjeff, you're right....it's better to save a soul than cast him aside. Mind you, under the circumstances......

Just FYI --

The MODS were out of pocket yesterday for long stretches of time, as we were busy traveling back from the show in Vegas on Saturday. I posted my response/warning to your original post and then closed my laptop and got on a plane.

Had that not been the case, you first day would probably have been your last on the JB forum. One thing you learn as you mature a little, when you are stating an opinion it should sound like an opinion, and if you want to hang out in this community then you need to remember posting and interacting here is a privilege and not a right.

Please take time to read the rules and understand the letter and the spirit of those rules will be enforced.

As always if you can bring something positive to the table, all the better.

What did you expect?!  You come on JOE BONAMASSA's forum and make some remarks on how Joe rips people off- its just common sense that you should be resepctful of someone when in their own house- you should know that at 15 and if you don't thats sad.  Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but you need to know when to keep them in check.  You came on here saying Joe's site was horrible, then you accuse him of ripping off Gary Moore.  Honestly, what did you expect to happen?  That people would welcome you with open arms and sing hallelujah?  Grow up and learn some manners.

P.S.  If I had it my way, you would've been banned after you accused Mr. Bonamassa of ripping off Gary Moore, but you are lucky the mods weren't on here for most of the day.
