Re: Joe's site-The Best?

Try reading some of the comments, then maybe the light will dawn on just why the website is so good in our opinion.  Just my twopenn'worth.

Re: Joe's site-The Best?

Dear Chrisamplifythis...I've been away for a few days and I see that you are new...and jumped in with nothing but negatives! It makes me question your motivation..I'm a self confessed cyberidiot, but I can find my way around this site w/o problems..We will help you with any site issues but we all respect each other here. We've been called fanatics and wear the title with pride. I've seen too many forums where everyone is posturing to seem like the most knowledgable, talented, etc...all things that cause discord. Not here! Please check your attitude at the "door" and take the time to read all the info that is available on this forum. That said, welcome to Joe world.      Cathy

Hi Chris,

How about a little bit of introducing yourself before putting up a fight against a whole community ... wink
I just had a look at your myspace site and I think there would be something you could tell us about you and your band before you blurt something out.

I think the original question was more about the "atmosphere" of the site (not about layout and navigation - who needs that?!) - so I suggest you start to read what everybody is writing, stop insulting the moderators (see that other post of yours) and talk to us. How about that?!

Hi Chris, Welcome to the forum. While this not the most technologically advanced site on the web, it is our humble home. We all come here to hang out with our "family", share ideas and our music interests. We don't come here to pick fights. I realize you are new here and we are always welcoming fresh blood to this forum everyday. There are lots of nice people here & that's what makes this place special. Coming in here & saying this site is crap & in your other post you refer to "Trouble Waiting" as a rip off, it's not a great way to get started. Unless of course you are here trying to pick a fight. If that's the case, you are in the wrong place. Try thinking a little bit about the words you place here. Just try to be considerate of others while voicing your opinions. Thank you.  Pete

ragamuffin is right... establishing credibility is pretty important. And of course validating your "beefs" with facts is also commendable. I will look forward to seeing some of these in the future.

Did you find something in your undies that you didn't expect?  I meandered over one thread and found you here again spouting off about how silly we are and how misunderstood you are.  Half your dose...or double it.

Re: Joe's site-The Best?

Chris, I'll cut you some slack seeing as you're just a kid but you need to learn some manners my friend. I also checked out your web site......I think the old adage of 'people in glass houses....' should be in kept in mind. Still, welcome aboard but please show some respect to the members. If you haven't got anything good to say then it's usually better to say nothing at all. wink You may even learn something while you're here.....there's a lot of gigging musicians among us who have some good advice when it's needed.

Maybe this was all a ploy from you to get all of us to look at your website?

Re: Joe's site-The Best?

So, why are you here Chris? It doesn't make sense that you keep logging on to a site that you don't like unless, as Patty has suggested, it was just a ploy. I guess you realise that this is actually Joe's site and he checks it out frequently....and logs on quite a bit to offer advice and opinions when asked. Anyway, good luck with your band and your new website.....don't forget to use the spell-check from time to time and maybe buy yourself a good dictionary before you go any further with your own sight....oooops wink...site. Oh, by the way...Joe said recently....'if you wouldn't say it, don't write it'.....good advice I think.

Just answer this: why are you on here if you don't like the site?

Simple enough question

Should be a simple enough answer
