Re: JB's Shepherd's Bush EP

i dont know if im the only one but i honestly can't tell the difference between mp3 and aac.  for that matter if you make a cd out of all mp3's it sounds no different to me than a cd i buy new in a store.  i have heard there is a difference and i believe it but i really c an't believe it can be so big that you won't even listen to music(this is the only soundboard recordings of most of those live tracks correct?  all the rest are audience recordings?) just because of the format.  so i just find it kind of funny that i can't even distinguish the difference but apparently it is so major it makes music not even worth listening to.  man i must need to get my ears checked.

Re: JB's Shepherd's Bush EP

Can I hear a difference between mp3 and cd quality?...yes, sometimes.
Does it hamper my enjoyment of the music?...no, unless it's really horrible.

The Shepherd's Bush sound quality is far superior to any audience taped show I've heard (But I still love the taper's stuff), and it's pretty cheap too!

I'm so glad I'm not an audiophile...sounds like more of a curse, especially in today's digital age.

Yeah exactly.  I easily could be, but honestly I'm too poor to be intense about speakers and all that, and happier to not be bothered about it.

Re: JB's Shepherd's Bush EP

For those that crave live JB music, keep an eye on the JB Master Torrent thread in the Show Reviews & Set Lists forum.  A more complete FM broadcast version of the Shepherd's Bush show was torrented back in September in A+ quality.  The torrent is likely dead now, and since the show has now been commercially released, it is no longer ethical to trade the FM version.  But you could have had it in lossless and with more songs!
